As bell hooks proclaimed, “[writing] is a way to experience the ecstatic.”

We will meet every Sunday in the month of February from 7-815pm PST to explore our voices—individually and collectively. I will provide optional prompts. You have the Right to Write in whatever way, whatever genre, whatever voice you feel inspired to use in that moment on that night. Come with content you have been thinking about, but haven’t yet put on paper. Come with dreams that continue to live in you, days, maybe weeks after dreaming them. Come with the desire to explore who you are as a thinker and writer, without judgement, without expectations. Come with a new project. Come with an old project you are ready to pick up again. Come ready to explore a new genre. Come ready to complete the article/ poem/ story/ screenplay you haven’t made the time to finish. You will have the opportunity to share with the group at the end of each session, wherein you decide if you want to receive feedback or no feedback. I am available for 1:1 feedback at no additional cost after each Sunday session by appointment. You get to decide how you use this space. You have the Right to Write.
